Truth on Taxes

Show the math and cut the fat. No fake promises.

Kyle won’t make guarantees he can’t control. County commissioners don’t set your property value. That’s the appraisal district's responsibility. What commissioners do control is the county budget, and that's where waste hides and real savings are found.

Kyle’s approach is simple: read the budget like a business owner reads a profit and loss statement. He will demand plain language budgets, ask hard questions before votes, and require clear explanations of what each item costs. Not just upfront price, but what it commits taxpayers to in the future. That’s how you stop “nice to haves” from becoming permanent spending.

Kyle has run a real business with real budgets for over 20 years. He understands that every “yes” vote expands government and costs taxpayers money, and he’ll treat county dollars like they belong to the people—because they do.

“I think it’s misleading to guarantee a tax cut.

What I can guarantee is disciplined spending, transparent budgets,

and the backbone to say NO.”

Respect What's Here

Property rights first and growth that pays its own way.

Brazos County can grow without bulldozing rural life or shifting costs onto families who are already here. That means protecting landowners, respecting existing communities, and requiring new development to carry its fair share of infrastructure impact.

When the Inner East Loop route was going to cut his property in half, Kyle fought it. And when the route was moved and his property was no longer directly impacted, he didn’t walk away. He kept fighting for the families and landowners still in the path.

People over Politics

Accountable to the people and immune to political pressure.

County government should answer to citizens and not to party pressure, insiders, or special interests. Kyle believes public service means independence, transparency, and decisions made for the long-term good of the community.

He’s grassroots backed and independent. He’s the only candidate in this race running without political endorsements. Think about that.

He’s also done the homework locally. He has met with county employees and spent the past year sitting in on Commissioners Court so he’s ready to govern, not just campaign. Nor does he need to rely on another Precinct's Commissioner to teach him what to do. Despite what other candidates may claim, Kyle is the only truly qualified candidate.

Fight Overreach with Transparency

No pet projects and no taxpayer traps.

Big projects shouldn’t happen to people. If the public can’t clearly understand the plan, the cost, and the long-term impact, it shouldn’t move forward. Kyle will push for clear explanations, transparent decision-making, and responsible priorities.

When Kyle says he can stop government overreach, he’s not guessing—he’s already done it. He helped stop the Inner East Loop when it was being pushed in a way that would have happened to people, not with them. He can do it again.
